Age 45 - Present

My current goals are to enhance overall fitness and race in road events that are anywhere from 1 mile to Marathon.  I have been working to increase my weekly mileage to prepare for longer races.  On a good week, I am currently running around 40 miles.  I like to do one long run each week or every other week.  The other days I mix in easy runs, tempo runs, and speed workouts of various distances.  My speed workouts have been consisting of long warm-ups and 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, or 1 mile repeats on the road at or slightly faster than 1 mile or 5K goal race pace.  Most weeks I do at least a few easy miles on grass or trails.
